NFL Cracks Down On Saints ‘Who Dat’ Merchandise

The NFL is issuing cease and desist letters to New Orleans t-shirt makers using the “who dat” slogan on their merchandise leading up to the Super Bowl. The slogan -- which has some sort of meaning and origin, although no one seems clear on either -- is not owned by the NFL. Nor is it owned by the Saints. But the league has the right to stop manufacturers from producing anything that creates “the illusion of an affiliation with the Saints.” I suppose “who dat” does make one think of the Saints.

↵Possible solution: Silkscreen t-shirt with a big picture of this guy, who represents all that is “who dat” without using the phrase banned by the NFL:
