Brit Hume’s Advice for Tiger Woods: Convert to Christianity
Good news for those wondering how Tiger Woods was going to get out of his current mess: Brit Hume has you covered. The Fox News anchor suggested this morning that to save himself as a person, Tiger should convert to Christianity.
⇥“The extent to which he can recover seems to me depends on his faith,” Hume said. “He is said to be a Buddhist. I don’t think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. So, my message to Tiger is, ‘Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world.“That is, certainly, a unique take on Tiger, whose religious beliefs are about as shrouded as his personal life was before his tumultuous two months. (He’s reportedly a Buddhist, for what it’s worth.) I’m not sure Tiger is watching Sunday morning talking-head shows for advice, but if this should transpire, I suppose Hume had it first.
