If it’s the offseason in Denver, then it must be time for everyone’s favorite soap opera, The Young And The Traded. This year’s edition stars the petulant and talented Brandon Marshall.
Brandon Marshall For Brady Quinn?
↵While St. Louis and Tampa Bay have both been mentioned as potential landing spots for the mercurial Marshall, the rumor du jour has him shipping off to...Cleveland? Indeed, the Denver Post’s Mike Klis thinks that the Broncos and Browns could solve each other’s problems, swapping Marshall for Brady Quinn.
↵The upshot for the Broncos would be sticking Marshall in a far worse situation than his current one in Denver, while picking up a Charlie Weis-tutored prospect in Quinn who Josh McDaniels perhaps thinks he could turn around. Still, it’d be difficult to imagine the Broncos wouldn’t want more in return (a second round pick too?) for Marshall.
