You may not remember, but that sound you heard last night? That little murmur? That was Charlotte Bobcats fans rejoicing. The Bobcats beat Lebron James and the Cavaliers last night, you see.
Damn It Feels Good To Be The Bobcats
↵A big win for anyone, but for Charlotte, it might just be the biggest win in the franchise’s brief history. From our Bobcats blog, Rufus On Fire:
↵
↵I'm not big on extrapolating larger truths from a single game or moment, but that doesn't mean that, like everyone else in the world, I'm not hard wired to do just that. Seeing the Bobcats' win over the Cavaliers in person filled me with more confidence in this team, as currently constructed, than I've felt all season.
↵
↵They’ve got Gerald Wallace: BUZZSAW, Stephen Jackson, and Ray Felton (who Rufus calls “a top twelve point guard in this league”), all of whom are part of quietly sneaky bunch down there in Charlotte. Sure, they stll play in a half-empty arena and don those hideous jerseys, but there’s been some real progress, with last night’s win an encouraging benchmark.
↵A better foundation than most teams can boast.
↵So....... Oh to be the Bobcats?
