Chad Ochocinco left Sunday's Jets-Bengals game early with a knee injury. An MRI today revealed there was no structural damage to his left knee and he should be available when the Bengals host the Jets in the first round of the playoffs this upcoming Sunday.
Chad Ochocinco Knee Not Damaged, Likely For Sunday’s Game Against Jets
Ochocinco said on his Twitter page Monday that the "MRI went well". Before going to get the MRI the ninth-year receiver said that he was unable to extend his knee. Ochocinco bruised the knee during pregame warm-ups before Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
Chad also tweeted earlier in the day that his MRI went well. Good news for the Bengals, because the alternative didn’t look pretty.
If Chad would have been unable to go, the Bengals would have had to depend on Laveranues Coles and Andre Caldwell, who have a combined 94 receptions; but less yards and less touchdowns -- combined -- than Chad.
