Does today feel any different than normal? Well, as can often be said, if you’re in Alabama, it does. Why? From the Associated Press:
Mark Ingram Day: Boring, Kinda Good
↵↵Gov. Bob Riley has proclaimed Wednesday “Mark Ingram Day” in the state of Alabama. Riley said Ingram has made Alabama residents proud both by his performance on the field and the character he has shown in his personal life.
↵↵Alabama residents report that Mark Ingram Day has been pretty good so far, but nothing too spectacular. Just a good, solid day, ya know? They have the best college football team in the country, and Mark Ingram Day makes it a little better. Pretty exciting stuff out there.
↵Some residents, however, have said that Trent Richardson Day — next Tuesday — promises to be an even more rollicking affair. Although with ‘Bama winning, and with that defense, every day is better than 2004’s Shaud Williams Day.
↵(And for the record, on Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh Day, the entire state of Nebraska will be scorched and split in half. In a good way.)
