Three Out Of Four Yahoo’ers Agree: Alabama Wins

Three out of four Doc Saturday commenters agree that Alabama is the clear favorite going into tonight’s championship game. Look, numbers and stuff!

Here are the national rankings of each defense Texas has faced this year in terms of yards allowed: 44, 80, 49, 110, 57, 8, 64, 32, 48, 94, 76, 105, 7. The “7” and “8” there represent Nebraska and Oklahoma, games the Longhorns won by a combined margin of four points in low-scoring slugfests. Alabama’s national rank in total and scoring defense: No. 2.
