College Football Rankings: Ohio State Claims The Top Spot In USA Today Poll

The AP Poll hasn’t dropped yet, but the USA Today coaches poll just came out, and it shows the expected shifts in the college football polls this week.

Ohio State and Oregon move up to the top and second spots after Alabama’s loss to South Carolina. Boise State, Nebraska, and TCU round out the top five. The Crimson Tide fall all the way to eighth, while their conquerors, South Carolina, move up to 12th.

Florida is the only two-loss team in the poll. The Gators plummet from 12th to 22nd after a loss to LSU, which stays at ninth.
