On Saturday, Ron Zook's Illinois squad is causing some problems for No. 13 Michigan State. In this Big Ten match-up, the unranked Illini are up on the undefeated Spartans at the half, 6-3.
The first half at Spartan Stadium was a defensive affair, as both teams combined for exactly 200 offensive yards. Michigan State's running attack has been almost completely neutralized -- a week after running wild on Michigan, Edwin Baker and Le'Veon Bell have been held to 15 yards on nine carries.
Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins, meanwhile, seems a bit hobbled with a banged-up leg, but remains in the game.
Illinois is set to receive the ball in the second half. Stay tuned to this StoryStream for updates.
