Ryan Mallett Leaves Arkansas-Auburn Game, Reportedly With Knee Injury

Ryan Mallett, the starting quarterback for Arkansas and Heisman Trophy candidate, has left Saturday's Arkansas-Auburn game.

In the second quarter, Mallett drove for a touchdown, but was not present for the Razorbacks' final two drives of the half, as quarterback Tyler Wilson took the team's remaining snaps. Mallett headed to the locker room. According to CBS Sports, word on the Auburn (yes, the Auburn) sideline is that Mallett had suffered a knee injury.

Details are very scarce, as nobody in the Arkansas camp has made any comment. We’ll update with details as soon as they’re made available. Needless to say, this would be an enormous blow for the Razorbacks unless he can return for action in the second half.
