NFL Week 7 Picks: Philadelphia Eagles Vs. Tennessee Titans
When: 1:00 p.m. Sunday, FOX
SB Nation Eagles: Bleeding Green Nation
SB Nation Titans: Music City Miracles
Breakdown: Talk about opposite teams. The Eagles love to pass the ball and they'll do that with QB Kevin Kolb. The Titans love to run the ball and they'll do that with Chris Johnson. The Eagles should be able to have some success against the Titans secondary but they'll have a tough time running the ball. The Titans on the other hand won't be sticking to the passing game with Vince Young recovering from an injury. I can't imagine the Titans try to air it out much. Look for each side to stick to their strenth: For the Eagles it's passing the ball and for the Titans it's running the ball. Both teams are in the top 10 in turnover differential so they shouldn't be hurt too bad by turnovers.
Player to Watch: Chris Johnson. If he can go off, the Titans can stay in this thing. He's certainly the key to the game for them. Young is recovering from an injury and Kerry Collins isn't completely healthy so there are definitely some question marks at QB for the Titans. The way to solve that is let Johnson go off on the Eagles.
Line: No line.
Prediction: I’ll take the 4-2 first place Titans. They’re playing at home and can get Chris Johnson going on the ground. He’s a force when he really gets going and he’ll allow the Titans to dominate the flow of the game.
