Fantasy Football: Colts TE Dallas Clark ‘Out Indefinitely’ With Wrist Injury

Bad news for the Colts.

A rumor made the rounds on Wednesday that Colts TE Dallas Clark may be done for the year with a wrist injury. The Colts have confirmed that he has a wrist injury but says he will be kept out indefinitely. It sounds like at least part of that rumor was true and it doesn't sound like Clark will miss just a week or two.

That’s bad news for fantasy owners. He’ll be getting a second and third opinion to determine how long he’ll be out -- possibly the season -- and then we’ll have a better idea.

Clark was on pace for a similar year as 2009. He currently has 347 yards receiving and three TDs. He’s one of the few tight ends that can put up receiver-like numbers so this is a bad blow for fantasy football.

With Packers TE Jermichael Finley hitting IR this week as well it'll be difficult to find someone off of the waiver wire.

The Colts this week re-signed TE Gijon Robinson so he's a possibility but probably not a great one.
