More bad news for the Colts and fantasy football: WR Austin Collie will be out for a few weeks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Football: Austin Collie’s Hand Surgery Will Keep Him Out Several Weeks
Colts wide receiver Austin Collie underwent hand surgery this week that is expected to sideline him a few weeks.
There was a rumor floating around that it was a hamstring injury but apparently that’s not the case.
Collie is among the league’s leading receivers with 503 through six games. He blew up in Week 1 and 3 with 163 and 171 yards.
So who will replace him? SB Nation’s Stampede Blue says it may be Anthony Gonzalez time.
But, if Collie is down for a while, this is a chance for Anthony Gonzalez to step up and prove he's worth his 2007 draft pedigree.
Check out Stampede Blue for Austin Collie updates.
