Everton boss David Moyes has expressed serious concerns over injuries currently plaguing his squad that will travel to White Hart Lane on Saturday to face Tottenham in a mouth watering contest that places 5th against 11th in the Barclays Premier League.
Mikel Arteta, Leon Osman Highlight Everton Injury Worries Ahead Of Tottenham Clash
After the high that was his side's 2-0 victory over Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby last weekend, Moyes will now travel to face the London side without versatile midfielder Leon Osman who picked up an ankle knock and was forced off at halftime in the eventual win over Liverpool. Moyes may also be without midfield maestro Mikel Arteta who struggled through the derby with a groin strain and will face a late fitness test before the encounter with Spurs.
Should Arteta fail the fitness test, he'll add to an ever growing list of Everton players already out of action which include Louis Saha, Jack Rodwell, Victor Anichebe, Steven Pienaar and Marouane Fellaini.
While Osman faces weeks out with his injury, Moyes could elect to call Russian midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov back into the starting line up as Everton look to build upon their victory over Liverpool last weekend and continue to climb the table up into the top half.
