Titans WR Kenny Britt blew up for 225 yards and three touchdowns as Tennessee outclassed the Philadelphia Eagles, 37-19. Britt was good for 68.6 percent of the Titans' offense today, as RB Chris Johnson couldn't quite get it going. Not that he really needed to.
Week 7 NFL Scores And Results: Saints Fall Again, Steelers Survive, And Titans Bomb Eagles
The loss of WR DeSean Jackson clearly hurt the Eagles' big play offense. RB LeSean McCoy led Philly's offense, putting up 102 total yards. QB Kevin Kolb threw a touchdown, the first of WR Riley Cooper's career, but also threw a pair of picks to CB Cortland Finnegan and S Michael Griffin. Tennessee's defense held Kolb under five yards per attempt and hit him six times.
K David Akers and K Rob Bironas combined for seven field goals, with Bironas hitting the go-ahead three-pointer late in the fourth. Finnegan ran back his interception as time expired for good measure.
The Titans are now 5-2, while the Eagles dip to 4-3.
