Stefan Struve v. Sean McCorkle Planned For UFC 124

A heavyweight bout between Stefan Struve and Sean McCorkle is in the works for UFC 124.

Sources with knowledge of the fight confirmed to MMA Fighting that a match between two of the tallest fighters in the promotion's history has been agreed to. Additionally, MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani has confirmed with sources close to the promotion that the bout will take place.

Struve stands at 6'11" while McCorkle is 6'7" making this quite a titanic heavyweight battle. Struve is coming off a dramatic comeback win over Christian Moorecraft which improved his UFC record to 4-2. Sean McCorkle defeated Mark Hunt by first round kimura in his first UFC bout.

UFC 124 is headlined by the welterweight title bout between champion Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck.
