Patrice Bergeron Reportedly Signs Contract Extension
The Boston Bruins apparently do. General manager Peter Chiarelli decided to lock up the center with a three-year, $15 million contract extension. The team announced the deal, which was originally reported by RDS.ca late Thursday, early on Friday morning.
It’s a slight raise of about $250,000 per year compared to the $4.75 million Bergeron will make this season. He was due to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
