Charlie Davies Caught Speeding In France

Oh, Charlie. You’re not going to make this easy are you?

The American forward upon whom much faith, hope and dreams have been placed was caught speeding last week in France. According to the French newspaper Le Progres, Davies was driving 202 KPH (125 MPH) -- speed limit is 130 KPH -- and reportedly had his driver's license confiscated. He was driving an Audi Q7.

This is the same Davies who missed the World Cup after getting in a horrific traffic accident that nearly cost him his life almost exactly one year ago.

He has yet to return to fitness for his club team Sochaux and this hardly seems to be an indicator that he’s grown up much since then.
