Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for the New Jersey Devils, they may have. Forward Zach Parise will undergo exploratory arthroscopic knee surgery to determine what has been bothering him as of late.

“It’s not ligament or cartilage,” Lamoriello said. “We just have to determine what it is that’s bothering him. It’s been bothering him for a while.”
The time table for Parise isn’t known at this point, but it will obviously be more clear once the surgery is complete.
