Pacquiao Vs. Margarito Fight: Plenty Of Time To Find Your Bar Before Title Bout

Still need to find a place to watch Manny Pacquiao take on Antonio Margarito? (Or still need to find a place to make a few bets?) Don’t worry, there’s plenty of time left before the Saturday night fight in Cowboys Stadium.

The bout for the WBC middleweight title will be broadcast via pay-per-view on HBO tonight, and that broadcast begins at 9:00. It’s a major fight, though, and preceded by a ton of other hoopla, which means that the fight likely won’t start until Pacquiao and Margarito enter the ring around 11:30. Sorry, casual fans: you won’t be able to watch the most anticipated fight of the year without a bit of preamble that helps HBO pay the bills.

Need to kill time in the interim, or want to learn why this fight is as big as it is? Check out Bad Left Hook’s extensive preview of the fight, including a breakdown of the fighters’ strengths, video of the weigh-in, and an explanation of why, exactly, Nelly is performing. And when it starts, we’ll have round-by-round updates from Bad Left Hook’s Scott Christ right here.
