Tonight’s Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito fight will be broadcast at 9:00 Eastern on HBO pay-per-view, and as fight time nears, odds are holding steady. Bodog.com is currently keeping Pacquiao at -450, and Margarito at +300.
Pacquiao Vs. Margarito Odds Update: Manny Unsurprisingly Holding Steady As Favorite
A brief explanation of those numbers: the -450 means that in order to win $100 on Pacquiao, you’d have to put down $450. A $100 bet on Margarito, meanwhile, would net you $300 if Margarito wins.
Just to add some context, odds have narrowed somewhat since the fight was first announced. On August 18, for example, Pacquiao’s odds were set at -525.
Margarito, age 32, is a former two-time welterweight champion who has fought his share of title defenses. Pacquiao, 31, is the current champion. This will be Pacquiao’s second title defense.
