Dwyane Wade Injured After Hard Fall, Leaves Heat-Bobcats Game

On Friday night in Miami, the Heat's Dwyane Wade has left the game against the Bobcats after apparently suffering an injury. While driving to the net against the Bobcats' Sherron Collins, Wade bulldozed Collins and fell hard to the court. Here's video of the incident (via @jose3030):

Prior to the game, Wade had been suffering flu-like symptoms and was a game-time decision to start, but it’s safe to say that this is an entirely different issue. No details regarding the potential injury have been made known, but it looks as though his arm/shoulder area hit the floor particularly hard.

Before leaving the game, Wade had put up 10 points on Friday night, along with a rebound, a steal, and a couple of assists. We’ll update this StoryStream as soon as we have new details to pass along. And for more on Wade in the Heat, check in with our Heat blog, Peninsula Is Mightier.

(UPDATE: Wade has returned to action in the first half.)
