Before the 2010 season began, Texas A&M quarterback Jerrod Johnson was looked at as a solid developmental quarterback. But a roster move by the Aggies on Oct. 30 changed Johnson's professional hopes.

The athletically gifted Johnson was benched for junior Ryan Tannehill and the Aggies haven't lost since. Now Johnson has to be an afterthought to several NFL teams, despite the fact that he owns several A&M passing records.
Johnson has to hope for a stellar offseason to get a free agent invite, or maybe get picked in the late rounds. The Senior Bowl is probably out of the question for Johnson. He’ll have to hope to get some attention at something like the San Antonio Game.
It’s not out of the question that Johnson turns his career around. There have been a few college backups with good NFL careers. The process will challenge Johnson, but could ultimately make him better in the long run.
