The NBA is giving us a pre-Thanksgiving feast Wednesday night as the Orlando Magic take-on the Miami Heat in Orlando. The game features some of the top talent in the league, with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh anchoring a Heat lineup faced with the tough task of stopping the immovable object that is Dwight Howard.
Magic Vs. Heat: Dwight Howard Battles Miami’s Big Three
The Heat, facing the reality of extremely high expectations, have struggled to an 8-6 record. The big three of James, Wade and Bosh are still working out the kinks, struggling to find the chemistry needed to play at a high level. The talent is there, but without a full training camp to work together, it’s taking time to gel.
The Dwight Howard led Magic are off to a strong start, compiling a 9-4 record thus far. Orlando holds a 1.5 game advantage over the Heat in the Southeastern division standings. Howard is averaging a double-double on the year, 21.6 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.
The Heat look to snap their second two-game losing streak of the season on the road against the Orlando Magic at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN.
