The injury to Panthers QB Matt Moore is indeed season-ending as he reportedly has a torn labrum. For the Panthers it's yet another problem in a season of problems at QB. As SB Nation's Cat Scratch Reader says, it's now the Jimmy Clausen show moving forward.
Matt Moore Injury Lands Him On IR; Panthers Look To Jimmy Clausen
Moore was the first problem at QB for the Panthers. He’s started five of the Panthers eight games completing 55 percent of his passes for five TDs and 10 interceptions. He was a restricted free agent on a one-year deal which makes you wonder if he’s placed his last game in Carolina.
Clausen's best performance this year was an 11-of-21, 146-yard, one TD performance in the Panthers first loss to the Saints. He relieved Moore on Sunday in the Panthers second loss to the Saints completing 8-of-18 passes with an interception.
