If you didn't think it was possible for the Denver Broncos season to get worse, think again. The Denver Post is reporting that rookie Perrish Cox was arrested for sexual assault.
Broncos’ Perrish Cox Reportedly Arrested For Sexual Assault
Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox, a rookie starter, is in Douglas County Detention Center today on charges of sexual assault. He was arrested around 10 p.m. Thursday by Lone Tree police.
This certainly can't be what interim head coach Eric Studesville thought would happen in his first week on the job.
For the Broncos, this is more bad news in a season full of bad news. The Broncos season is up in smoke as they sit at 3-9. Last month, LB D.J. Williams was arrested for DUI. Later news broke that then-head coach Josh McDaniels and the team was each fined $50,000 for taping the San Francisco 49ers practice before a game. Then earlier this week, head coach Josh McDaniels was fired.
Studesville is expected to address the media this morning as part of his weekly press conference schedule.
