The Green Bay Packers (8-4) look to keep pace with the Chicago Bears in the NFC North when they pay a visit to the division rival Detroit Lions (2-10) on Sunday - and thanks to the Metrodome roof collapse, it will be the first of two games played at Detroit's Ford Field on back-to-back days this weekend. The Minnesota Vikings will be the third NFC North team to play at Ford Field this weekend when they "host" the New York Giants on Monday night in Detroit.
NFL Week 14, Packers Vs. Lions: This Week’s First Game At Ford Field
First thing’s first: Green Bay needs a win to keep the pressure on the 9-3 Bears, who have a tough Week 14 matchup at home against New England.
Detroit gave Green Bay all it could handle at Lambeau Field in Week 4, with the Packers eking out a 28-26 win over the scrappy Lions at home.
Perhaps the most intriguing storyline of this game, however, is what new way the NFL will find to turn an innocent Ndamukong Suh hit into a punishable offense. Game on, folks.
