On Thursday, Arizona junior quarterback Nick Foles told the Tuscon Citizen that he intends to return for his senior season.
This is a wise move by Foles.
Foles told reporter Anthony Gimino that he enjoys being in college and has his dad handle any professional issues.
Nick Foles wisely says he’s not entering 2011 NFL Draft

Foles has had a nice season with 2,911 yards passing with 19 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He missed two games due to injury. He’s completing an impressive 67.6 percent of his passes, but many of them come on underneath routes.
At 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, Foles certainly has prototype NFL size. But for a player of his size, you’d expect Foles to have a better deep pass. Instead when asked to throw longer than 15 yards, Foles’ passes tend to flutter.
Foles could receive a huge boost if star junior wide receiver
decides to return for his senior season as well. Foles and Criner could arguably be the best quarterback-to-wide receiver combination in the country in 2012.
It seems likely that fellow junior quarterbacks Cam Newton and
will enter this year’s draft. Here’s what an early look at the 2012 class could look like:
| 6’4, 235 pounds | QB | Southern California **
| 6’1, 209 pounds | QB | Georgia ***
Nick Foles | 6’5, 240 pounds | QB | Arizona *
| 6’4, 220 pounds | QB | Oklahoma **
| 6’5, 240 pounds | QB | Missouri *
Of course, a ton can and will change in a year from now. Foles could easily find himself at the top of that list or at the bottom if he has a bad season.
