Unless you watch a lot of NFC West football*, you may feel like there is a lot more scoring in NFL games this season. That’s because there has been. According to the league’s Vice President of Football Communications, games are averaging 44.3 points per contest. If this holds over final the two weeks, it would give 2010 the highest points per game average of the Super Bowl era.
