Pitt To The Big Ten? So Says...Someone...I Think...

In the latest episode of Who Wants To Be A Big Ten-Aire, rumors ran rampant Sunday that Pitt has decided to spurn the Big East for a chance to play Penn State every year in the Big Ten. The Kansas City Star’s Campus Corner blog passed along news that multiple Pitt athletes posted Twitter updates about a secret school meeting in which they were told the university would be making the switch. The players were then instructed not to tell anyone until the announcement was made public.

↵That’s either completely untrue or the dumbest strategy I’ve ever heard of.

↵Sorry folks, I’m gonna need another source on this. Someone trustworthy. A source that makes me think of irrefutable facts, journalistic integrity and critical research.

↵↵Here is what popped up on Bleacherreport.com, normally a pretty reliable outlet...

↵↵Yeah but no.
