Phil Simms, Former Giants Agree With Tim Tebow’s Thoughts on Life

The Washington Post posted a video today courtesy of the American Life League that features many prominent members of the 1987 Super Bowl Champion New York Giants talking about their thoughts on abortion. By the sound of it, they’re against it.
Now, this video was not a Super Bowl ad, so the comparison’s to Tim Tebow’s upcoming spot on Sunday isn’t entirely fair. But it is worth noting that one of the most prominent participants of the video for this Catholic anti-abortion group is Phil Simms, who will be calling the game in the booth for CBS.
It’s also fair to point out that of all the members of the Giants in the video, Simms had the least heavy hand, basically just reading statistics on the number of abortions per year and talking about how, after reading that stat in the paper, his Super Bowl stats suddenly became “very insignificant.”
That’s nothing compared to Mark Bavaro talking about “abortion death squads” and making the sign of the cross “in prayer for the condemned unborn,” or Jim Burt’s pre-teen son sitting on his shoulders telling his dad “I love you dad. It’s great to be alive.”
Wow. I wonder if Tebow will be atop his mom’s shoulders this weekend. Now

that's

a good Super Bowl ad.↵
