Efrain Escudero And Dan Lauzon Expected To Meet At UFC 114
Just heard from a UFC source: Dan Lauzon’s next fight will come at UFC 114 on May 29 against Efrain Escudero.
Both men are coming off submission losses in their last fight. Escudero was tapped out by fast-rising prospect Evan Dunham at UFC Fight Night 20 in Fairfax, VA last month. Lauzon was finished by Cole Miller at UFC 108 on January 2 in Las Vegas.
The irony of this match up is that both guys were winning their respective fights until they each got caught with some crafty jui-jitsu.
21-year old Dan Lauzon (12-3) will be looking for his first win in the UFC, while Escudero (13-1) will be looking to bounce back after the only loss of his career.
UFC 114 is expected to be headlined by the highly anticipated grudge match between Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans.
