Next Stop For Former Giants LB Antonio Pierce Could Be ESPN
The Giants cut ties with LB Antonio Pierce following the season. Pierce was dealing with an injury but the thought was that he still had some left in the tank and, once healthy, he’d return to the field with another team.
That may not be the case, according to TMZ.

It is not immediately clear who the Giants will target to replace Pierce. Early fan speculation has centered on middle linebacker Karlos Dansby of the Cardinals, who figures to be one of the marquee names on the free agent market this offseason. Another key factor will be whether 2010 is an uncapped season, as seems increasingly likely.
As for Pierce, the 32 year-old told the Newark Star-Ledger that he is “doing great, feeling great. Looking forward to endless possibilities.” Well, almost endless: he won’t be playing for the Giants anymore.
