Men’s hockey won’t get started until Tuesday, but the women are all set to go today with two big games kicking off tournament action. With just eight teams total in two pools, each game will is extremely not only to win but to win by the largest margin of victory possible.
Women’s Hockey: Canada And Sweden Looking For Big Start
Yet the expectation is for most games to be tightly contested, with the exception perhaps of the odd game against China.
Today, Teams Canada and Sweden look to get off to a big start as they start play this afternoon in Vancouver.

Canada vs Slovakia - 8:00 p.m. EST; CNBC
Just because it’s women’s hockey doesn’t mean it’s not exciting. Expect a rowdy crowd tonight backing up the Canadians as they take on Slovakia, in what should be an exciting night of Olympic hockey.
