Switzerland Scores While NBC Is In Commercial
NBC cut away to commercial and while they were away at break, Switzerland’s Ivo Ruthemann blasted a slap shot over the shoulder of Canadian goaltender Martin Brodeur. It banked off the inside of the post and into the back of the net. Martin Pluss and Thierry Paterlini picked up assists on the goal. We’d give you more details but we didn’t see them happen.
Nevertheless, it’s now just 2-1 Canada. This ball game isn’t over just yet folks.
