Just In Time For The Tiger Woods Press Conference, It’s SB Nation’s All-Tiger Blog

That’s right: SB Nation has launched its first athlete-specific blog today with the introduction of Trailing Tiger, a site devoted exclusively to Tiger Woods. The site will be managed by Ryan Ballengee, who also runs our general golf blog, Waggle Room.

↵So, why a Tiger-only blog? Well, as media continues to fragment in an ever-changing online landscape, the progression into more specialized content for consumer consumption is a natural one, which has been verified by recent web 2.0 trends.*

↵Or people just like reading about Tiger.

↵The first post on Trailing Tiger is a full breakdown of Woods’ 11 a.m. press conference, with details about how the whole circus will be orchestrated. Because this is a Tiger-only site, expect much more about his statement throughout the day.

↵*I have no way of confirming if this string of internet buzzwords is accurate, or even makes sense, but DAMN it sounds good.
