Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Vince Carter and Jameer Nelson sparked the Magic in the fourth quarter, as each scored eight points in the final stanza to send the Cavaliers to their first three-game losing streak of the season with a 101-95 decision at Amway Arena.
Dwight Howard recorded 22 points and 16 rebounds, while Nelson tallied 18 points for Orlando, which was coming off Friday's 95-85 setback against Dallas.
Carter finished with 11 points in the win, and Rashard Lewis chipped in 15, including a clutch three to get the Magic within five games of the Cavs for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
LeBron James totaled 33 points, nine rebounds and six assists, while Shaquille O'Neal added 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting for Cleveland, which had not lost three straight since the 2007-08 season.
Antawn Jamison followed up his inauspicious Cleveland debut in Friday's loss to Charlotte with 19 points and eight boards.
Cleveland led 75-74 after three quarters and went in front 85-80 on a Mo Williams jumper near the seven-minute mark of the final stanza.
Carter then sparked a 9-0 run with two free throws and a dunk, and Nelson drained a three for an 89-85 lead with 3:56 to play.
Leading 93-88 a little later, Nelson stepped up and drained a straightaway three with two minutes remaining.
An O'Neal tip-in and Anthony Parker three made it a one-possession game, but Howard made 1-of-2 free throws before James missed a contested three.
On the next possession, Carter drove the lane and dished to Lewis on the perimeter for the game-sealing three.
Howard’s left-handed baby hook gave the Magic a 25-18 lead after 12 minutes despite James’ 11 first-quarter points.
J.J. Redick boosted Orlando's cushion to 43-33 with a three out of the left corner with five minutes left in the second, and James converted a three-point play just before the halftime buzzer to pull the Cavs within 49-43.
Jamison scored the first eight points of the second half to put the Cavs on top for the first time, as he followed a block of Howard with a deep deuce for a 51-49 lead. Another James three-point play capped the 11-0 run 2 1/2 minutes into the frame.
The Magic trailed by seven a few minutes later, but used an 8-1 run to inch back, tying things at 63-all on two Howard free throws with under five minutes left in the quarter.
