Lindsey Vonn Fails To Finish Another Event, Misses Slalom Gate

Lindsey Vonn’s Olympics are over, ending in disappointing fashion Friday, as the American skier missed a gate during the Slalom. The DNF comes two days after she failed to finish during the Giant Slalom, taking a hard fall and suffering a broken finger. The Slalom was the final Alpine event in these Games.

Overall, though, Vonn’s Olympics have to be considered a success -- she earned two medals, including a gold in the Downhill.
