Jerome Bettis Talks Fandemonium, Steelers and Running Back Committees

Today at Radio Row, Jerome Bettis dedicated a few minutes to discuss his involvement with Monster.com’s “Directorof Fandemonium” promotion, which will name the winner of the tworemaining finalists during the CBS Super Bowl pregame show. Voting remainsopen until Friday. In addition to a $100,000 prize, the director, as itwere, will have ceremonial roles at the 2010 NFL Draft, Kickoff Weekend, theregular season game in London, NFL Network’s Thanksgiving evening broadcast,a Wild Card playoff game, as well as selecting a play during next season’sPro Bowl and being a part of the coin flip ceremony at Super Bowl 45.

The Bus then gave follow-ups to comments he made in recent months about BillCowher’s future coaching interests and the Steelerslocker room dynamic. He also gave a prescription for what the Steelersneed to do to bounce back to being a playoff team next year, as well as lenthis thoughts on the use of running back committees and which current NFLback most closely resembles his running style. He closed out the interview by giving his pick for Sunday’s game.
