Alright stop. No seriously, stop. You don’t have to collaborate, and you surely don’t have to listen.

Raptors Fans Check Out Vanilla Ice’s Hook
↵↵Yes, that’s Vanilla Ice doing halftime of the Raptors game on Wednesday night as part of their Fan Night promotion. And yes, the crowd was into it (fine, I’d totally be into it too). It is amazing what a guy who used to be at the top of his industry – albeit for a complete and utter gimmick back in the 80’s – will do to try and stay relevant and make a little money. Ice seems to have landed on his feet, telling 680News Radio that he’s doing well, and wouldn’t trade his life with anyone. ↵
↵↵⇥“What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. We are who we are because of who we were.”↵↵After watching this video, I called my friend who, as a joke, went to see Ice in concert about 10 years ago. Let’s not forget, for those of us who are white, suburban children of the ‘80s, there was nobody bigger than Vanilla Ice. Anyway, this was the height of the Limp Bizkit era, and Ice was on stage, sporting long dreadlocks and talking about smoking weed, explaining how the record label created that 80’s persona and it wasn’t who he really is at all. He won’t admit it, but a part of my friend died that night. ↵
↵With MC Hammer dancing in giant pants in Super Bowl ads these days, maybe Ice is taking the right path back to what he was, too. I guess it's his brand new "re-invention."↵↵
↵
↵Will it ever stop? Yo! I don't know. But I kind of hope it doesn't.↵
