Durham, NC (Sports NetworkSports Network) - Kyle Singler drained four straight treys at one point en route to a 30-point scoring onslaught, as No. 10 Duke rolled to an 86-67 victory over 21st-ranked Georgia Tech at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The heat was turned up in Durham's close confines, and the Duke shooters were equally as hot, draining 12-of-18 from beyond the arc. Singler made 8-of-10 threes, Jon Scheyer added 21 points with seven rebounds and Nolan Smith chipped in 14 points for the Blue Devils (18-4, 6-2), who rebounded from a lopsided loss at Georgetown over the weekend.

No Yellow Jacket starter reached double figures, as Zachery Peacock led the way with 11 points and Glen Rice, Jr. added 10. Talented frontline scorers Gani Lawal and Derrick Favors attempted only nine shots combined. Georgia Tech (16-6, 4-4) saw its brief two-game winning streak come to an end.

The Yellow Jackets handled the initial flurry, holding an 18-16 edge just over seven minutes in. However, Duke scored the next five, but Rice’s trey drew the visitors within 30-27 with just over six minutes to go. Duke outscored Georgia Tech, 15-6, over the remainder of the half with Singler’s half-closing trey opening a 45-33 edge.

He drained three more triples over the second half’s first six minutes, and the visitors were left in the dust at 56-41 after his third straight three. Three free throws from Scheyer opened an 18-point edge moments later, and Singler added another notch to his hot long-distance marksmanship with a trey for a 68-47 edge just over halfway through the final 20 minutes.

Duke had little trouble closing out the Yellow Jackets over the game’s final 10 minutes.

Duke made 24-of-36 free throws in a game with a staggering 53 personal fouls whistled to both teams...Georgia Tech made 49 percent of its shots...Duke has won 15 straight at home, including a perfect 13-0 mark this season...The Yellow Jackets won the first meeting this season, 71-67, in Atlanta on January 19th.
