The Mariners signed left-handed free agent pitcher Erik Bedard to a one-year contract with a mutual option for 2011, the team announced Saturday morning.

Over his two-year career with the Mariners, Bedard has suffered numerous injury-related setbacks but has pitched impressively whenever he’s been able. Unfortunately, Bedard’s injury woes continue.
