↵This gives me an opportunity to unveil a little thing I like to call the “Best Idea Ever.” When all the hype from the Olympics dies down, Johnny Weir should marry Lady Gaga, giving us the weirdest, most awesomely flamboyant couple in the history of sexually ambiguous celebrity couples. Plus, it’d keep Johnny in the spotlight, which I think everyone can abide by. More Johnny Weir is always a good thing.
↵There’s already been a petition among fans for Weir to perform his Lady Gaga “Poker Face” routine in the Olympics, of which Weir said:
↵↵“I hope I have the opportunity to skate to Lady Gaga very soon. Hopefully it will come at the World Championships, when I’ll vie for the world title, and be able to show the world Ms. Gaga.”
↵↵But why stop at skating? Isn’t marriage the ultimate tribute to someone’s art? If either Johnny Weir or Lady Gaga approaches the other on one knee, who says no?
