Montreal Canadiens defenseman Hal Gill was in a generous mood Tuesday, giving sophomore phenom Steven Stamkos one his easiest goals of the year.

↵Stamkos set a franchise record for Tampa Bay with his 17th powerplay goal and stretched his team-record point streak to 17 games in a losing cause. As for Gill’s mistake, I believe the word you’re looking for is ‘fail’.
