High School Hockey Player Makes Graceful First Impression

↵It being Minnesota, the state prep hockey championships are something of a big deal. The fact that we have any TV footage of it should let you know that. Last night, Alexandria defenseman Zach Van Orsdel likely wishes that it was not, after he tanked it during the pregame intros prior to a MSHSL tournament game. There’s not much you can do to save face after taking a fall like that, but one of the writers covering the event gave the kid points for an admirable try.↵↵⇥He did fall gracefully, however, and did not take out the cameraman. He also recovered well, flashing a big smile and giving a mock fist pump as he got up.↵↵↵That was the end of the silver lining, as Alexandria went on to get throttled 7-1 by Mahtomedi. Maybe Zach should have taken out the cameraman after all.↵
