Da’Sean Butler Literally Calls His Shot Against UC

↵I referenced the big bank shot by Da’Sean Butler’s big shot in an earlier post, and figured I wouldn’t pay it any more mind. I mean, we’ve all seen it 50 times today. Great shot, but the conference tournaments move on. But I had to double back for this shot today thanks to this nugget from Stewart Mandel’s recap:↵↵⇥Never mind the Mountaineers had hit just 3-of-19 from beyond the arc prior to that moment -- Butler knew it was going in.↵⇥↵⇥“He called it,” said [Lance] Stephenson, a New York City native. “He said ‘bank.’ I said ‘What?’ I turned ‘round and I saw it go in. Oh, man.”↵⇥

↵↵↵Da’Sean Butler is already the guy the Mountaineers look to in most cases for those end-game situations, but calling bank? At MSG? That’s how you put together a legendary rep as a closer.↵
