Roger Federer Wants To Put His Elders In The Corner

That whole Hit for Haiti dustup, wherein Andre Agassi and Pete Sampras thought a charitable tennis match would be an appropriate place to clown around like petulant toddlers with microphones? At least one other luminary of the sport thought that treating them like actual toddlers might have been the way to go:

↵“I don’t think it was that crazy bad, but it was a bit awkward because you didn’t know. Was it just fun, was it not fun? What was it, you know?
“I thought maybe we have to give both guys like a timeout or something,” [Roger] Federer added with a smile.
↵Federer’s being his usual gracious postgame self here, but let’s get serious about punishment for a second: If anyone deserves to sit in a chair facing the wall and think about what he’s done, it’s Sampras. Who gets himself in an escalating war of words with Andre Agassi and doesn’t think to call him a meth head?

↵HT: Busted Racquet.
