Wild Bill Turns His Fleshy Back On the Aggies

Put simply, this is no way to be a superfan. ↵↵Wild Bill, who also goes by “Bill Sproat” on non-gamedays, is the resident fan of distinction at Utah State basketball games. The paunchy fellow, who claims to draw influence from Jack Black and Chris Farley (and one can see how), has an array of mostly shirtless costumes he wears to Aggies games. ↵
↵↵But he missed one rather important game this weekend. Wild Bill was missing from the student section during the WAC conference final against New Mexico State. There must have been a death in the family, or the birth of a similarly corpulent child. Surely something dire and family-related must have been going down.↵
↵↵Nope. Wild Bill was in North Carolina filming a commercial for ESPN.↵
↵↵Of course, the Aggies went on to get upset on Saturday in the final. Basic superstition law states that this is entirely the fault of Wild Bill. For shame, you shirker you.↵
↵↵Lucky for him, Utah State still secured an at-large bid and will face Texas A&M in an all-Aggie first-round contest on Friday. But will the Utah State fan base welcome back his flabby gyrations? Eh... probably. But they’ll have to swallow the bitter reminder of defeat everytime they see this forthcoming ad.↵
