Urban Meyer: Worst Retiree Ever

Florida head coach Urban Meyer announced his resignation in late December. He changed that to an indefinite leave in January. Turns out his time away was basically the same amount of time that every other college coach in America took this winter cause he’s back in camp like nothing ever happened.

↵↵He was supposed to return for spring practice, which began Wednesday, but his first day back actually came two weeks ago.

↵Nonetheless, he eased into things Wednesday and was considerably less involved in several aspects of team drills.

↵↵In his “absence”, the Gators reloaded with the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation and Meyer hired four new coaches. Probably for the best that Meyer stay away from the retirement communities of South Florida for now. One gets the sense he’d be Boca Valley East development president and captain of the #1-ranked shuffleboard team by week’s end.
