Cubs RHP Angel Guzman says he will have surgery on his right shoulder. He met with Dr. James Andrews, who Guzman said gave him "hope."
The operation will be performed by Dr. Andrews, and Guzman realizes it very well may end his career. However, he’s planning to give it another go a year from now, and given the adversity he’s faced in his limited years, there’s every reason to root for his health and success.
